Ingarö Havscamping is everything but your average camping site. Situated on a peninsula in the archipelago only 20 minutes from bustling down town Stockholm. In midst of a beautiful birch- and pin tree forest you’ll find spacious camping sites, many of them with a breathtaking sea view.
The camping sites are scattered in the beautiful surroundings in a way that gives privacy. It’s rather like having your own summer house in the archipelago. The sites can be leased for the whole season or for a month. The cottages are leased by the week or, according to availability, by the day.
Gustavsberg's porcelain museum is about 15 minutes from the campsite. Over the last 175 years the porcelain factory has built up large collections of objets d'art and porcelain. Here you can try your hand at painting porcelain, visit Lisa Larsson's studio or buy porcelain at factory prices. Gustavsberg's porcelain museum, 08-570 356 58, is open from 2 May Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m., for the rest of the year Tuesday-Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
