We are located on a own island in the center of Stockholm on the more secluded island that shares its name, yet it is within close proximity to all this great city has to offer. Årsta Holmar Guesthouse is in a great location in the heart of Stockholm on a own island. In addition, this restored, historic mansion from 1742 is on the Stockholm City Museums heritage list, and features an interior of 18th Century décor. After a long journey, you will find peace and relaxation not only inside, but outside in the guesthouse’s large yard that sits on the water. Årsta Holmar are the only buildings on three interconnected islets in Årstaviken south of Södermalm. On the mainhouse second floor you will find a large common room surrounded by four bedrooms with two beds in each and two bathroooms. The mansion has two wings. West wing is ideal for families. There are totally fore beds and one bathroom. The East Wing is a six-bed dorm also with one bathroom. Breakfast is served in the main house. Because Årsta holmars Guesthouse is on a separate island we need your arrival announced. Our landing-stage is located under the train-bridge on the south-shore, but currently there is a renovation projekt of the train-bridge and it exists a temporary bridge that connect the island with the mainland. Årsta Holmar doesn´t have a own address, and therefore we refer to our office at Tantogatan, Södermalm. The office is located about 100meter from bridge, if you end up here, go further down towards the water until you see a blue gate. Easiest is if you upon arrival call us so we can meet you on the other side of the bridge. Cancellation policy: Cancellations should be done no later then 18.00 the day you check-in, unless otherwise agreed. Later cancellations are charged for one day. This also applies to no shows.
